One-Piece Race Fit for Karting
We constructed this suit as a full-body one-piece karting and racing garment with an ergonomically tailored race fit. The pattern is shaped around the driving posture, giving the suit a close and comfortable fit while maintaining the full-body construction required for a karting-focused design.
The main torso and central leg sections use solid black fabric, creating a clean base for the contrasting side panel construction.
For brands developing technical riding and racing collections, our Cordura motorcycle jacket fabric guide provides further information on Cordura-based apparel construction and material considerations.
600D Cordura / Poly-Nylon Outer Shell
The outer shell is made from heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant 600D Cordura / Poly-Nylon fabric. The fabric construction is selected for a demanding karting environment where the garment can experience friction during track use.
Inside, we added a soft breathable mesh lining to create a more comfortable interior against the body.
The combination of a structured outer shell and breathable inner lining makes this construction suitable for brands looking to develop a dedicated karting or motorsport apparel range.
Continuous White Side Panel Construction
The colour layout is built around a solid black base with crisp white Cordura panels running continuously along the side body, outer thighs and legs.
Rather than treating each section as a separate graphic, the white panel construction follows the length of the suit from the upper body towards the lower legs.
Thin red piping lines run along the torso and inner leg seams, while bold red fabric accents are positioned across the shoulders and outer arms. This gives the suit a defined racing appearance while keeping the main black and white structure visually dominant.

Concealed Front Zipper and Mandarin Collar
At the centre front, the main zipper is concealed underneath a storm flap. This keeps the front closure protected and gives the upper torso a clean finished appearance.
The zipper continues towards a stand-up mandarin collar, which is secured at the neck with a Velcro latch. This creates a structured collar finish while allowing the wearer to secure the neckline comfortably.
Red Shoulder Epaulettes and Track-Oriented Details
Bright red epaulettes are positioned across the shoulders and include logo accents for branding.
The epaulettes are designed to function as safety extraction handles for track drivers, while also giving the suit a recognisable motorsport construction detail.
The shoulders and outer arms continue the red colour accents, connecting the upper-body design with the red piping used through the torso and inner leg seams.
Adjustable Waist and Ribbed Wrist Cuffs
At the centre waist, we fitted a matching black belt strap that provides an adjustable element around the waist.
The wrists are finished with comfortable black ribbed elastic cuffs. These cuffs create a close wrist finish and work with the overall fitted construction of the suit.
The lower-leg design continues the white and red side panels towards the ankles, where the suit is shaped for snug fitment with karting shoes.
Private-Label Branding Areas
The suit can be developed for brands that need their own visual identity rather than an off-the-shelf racing garment.
Logo accents, colour placement and approved branding artwork can be incorporated into the design during development. Depending on your requirements, branding can be planned around suitable smooth areas of the garment for embroidery, printing or other approved applications.
If you are starting with a new racing design, our sample development service can be used to develop and review the physical sample before bulk production.
